Privacy Policy

If you submit a consult request, we send your name and contact details to up to 3 med spas so they can contact you directly. That is the whole point of the request, and it is the main thing this policy is about. We keep the record for 12 months. We do not sell your details to data brokers, and we only add you to our own mailing list if you separately tick the box asking for it.

When you submit a consult request, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address and phone number
• The city and treatment you asked about
• Anything you type into the message, timing or budget fields
• The page you submitted from

If you opt in to deals emails, we store your email address for that purpose. If you are a provider and claim a listing, we store your email address and your business details.

We also collect ordinary technical information every website receives, such as your IP address and browser type.

We send your request to up to 3 med spas in the city you selected that offer the treatment you asked about. Each of them receives your name, your contact details and your message, and each may contact you directly.

Some listings are unclaimed, meaning the business has not registered with us. Unclaimed businesses receive a notice that a request exists but do not receive your contact details.

Providers who pay for a Featured or Exclusive placement may receive your request before other providers do, or may be the only provider who receives it. That affects who contacts you, not what we collect or how long we keep it.

Once a med spa has your details, that business decides how it uses them. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policy, not this one.

These companies process data on our behalf so the site can run. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

We are in the process of adding the following measurement and advertising tools. They are listed here in advance so this policy is accurate from the day they go live:

• Microsoft Advertising (Bing): Advertising measurement

Agreeing to be contacted about a consult request does not put you on our mailing list. Those are two separate choices, and the deals opt-in is a separate tick box shown after your request is sent.

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and we honour it.

We keep consult requests for 12 months from the date you submit them, then delete them. We keep this record so we can resolve a dispute with a provider about whether a request was delivered.

Marketing subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe. Provider account records are kept for as long as the account is open.

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email privacy@utahmedspas.com and we will respond within 45 days.

We cannot recall a request that has already been sent to a med spa. If you want a particular spa to delete your details, you need to ask that business directly, and we will tell you which businesses received your request if you ask us.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to appeal a refusal, and you can start that by replying to our response.

This directory is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted a request, email us and we will delete it.

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes to how consult requests are shared will be reflected on the request form itself, not only here.
